Lilja Katanka Acupuncture Practitioner

Lilja Katanka is a qualified TCM Acupuncture practitioner and member of the British Acupuncture Council, having studied for 4 years at Westminster University, London, and XiYuan hospital in Beijing. She believes that treatment should be fundamentally holistic, yet practical and results-driven.

Her training included theory and practice in Acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese Massage therapy) Moxibustion and Cupping.  She has also trained in Traditional Thai Massage in Wat Po, Bangkok, and is qualified in Facial Acupuncture, having studied under Virginia Doran. She has also completed courses in Acupuncture for Sports Injuries and Musculo-skeletal problems, Acupuncture for the Eyes, Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese Acupuncture, and the Treatment of Lingering Pathogens using TCM and Acupuncture. Prior to qualifying as an acupuncturist Lilja worked for 6 years for charities in the field of sustainable development and construction, having studied environmental science to degree level.
